Following two deep tech startup exits in San Francisco, and a series of senior executive roles driving digital transformation and software businesses for global industrial companies, Hugo is the first person in the world to have dived into and connected an active volcano to the Internet to significantly reduce the cost of disaster monitoring for the millions people who live in the shadow of active volcanoes globally. Hugo is currently CEO and founder of Encube Technologies, a deep tech manufacturing software startup.
With a passion for challenging the way organizations view themselves and their core competences, Hugo leverages his cross-disciplinary background in science, technology and economics to uncover new perspectives and insights that help executive management teams and board rooms to successfully redefine the way their companies are run and perceived by customers, employees and capital markets.
Hugo has a MSc in Finance from Imperial College London, BSc Physics and Industrial Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, and a BA Economics from Rutgers University. LinkedIn
